Commission Process
Let's Start:
Once you have decided you would like me to paint your pet, I will require one good-quality photograph. I will accept multiple photographs and I will determine which photograph will the best to use as a reference photo.
I require a release of copyright on the photograph. This will need to be signed by the person who took the photograph during the "paperwork stage" below.

Upon receipt of suitable photograph(s), I will create an outline drawing for your approval. In the event I can't create an outline drawing, I reserve the right to refuse the commission due to a lack of appropriate photographs, or if the client is unable to approve the outline.
At this point, I will also give you an estimated time of completion. This timeline will change depending on how long it takes the customer to make the downpayment.
Paperwork
Upon approval of the outline drawing, a contract will be sent to you for your signature along with a copyright release by the photographer for the photo that will be used for reference.
An invoice will be sent to you via Paypal.
All signed paperwork and a 50% payment must be received before work will begin.
Upon receipt of the downpayment, the timeline will be confirmed, your price will be locked in.
Painting Process
Your work will begin based on the timeline agreed upon. If you would like, I will send you to progress paintings. Some of my clients choose to have their paintings be a surprise.

When I feel I am done with the painting, I will send you an image of the work for final approval.

Watercolor is transparent and only minor changes can be made.
These changes are easiest if caught early on.

You may also request I not share my progress photos on my social media until completion and have been delivered to the recipient.
Completion
Upon approval and completion, your painting will be packaged up in a cellophane envelope and prepared for mailing.
Upon receipt of payment in full, your painting will ship.
Pricing
Current pricing is $200 plus shipping for an 8x10 watercolor painting. Local pick-up is available.
Pricing is subject to change without notice, your signed contract will lock in your price.
Love your painting and believe it is worth more than the quoted price? You are more than welcome to add a tip to your final payment.
